Geresi: "It was dream from a young age to play for Videoton"

"I started the season with the second team, but it was an aim of mine to break into the first team squad. I was hoping to get as much playing time as possible. I had to show what I could do with the second team in the third division first, which fortunately I managed to do. Once I was given the chance with the first team, I gave my all in training and in the matches that I played in. I am delighted that I kept my place in the first team. It has been a dream of mine from a young age to play for Videoton. The most memorable moment for me last year came in the final game at the old Sostoi stadium. I scored the winning goal in the league game against Paks. I do not think that a local lad from the city could not wish for anything more. I am pleased that I extended my contract with the club. I want us to go as far as possible in the Europa League qualifiers. It would be really good if we could make it to the group stage. I know that this will not be easy to achieve.
