Gabor Marton: "Score a goal and you learn how to play"

The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle.

Gabor Marton:

"We were wary of this game a little following our elimination on Thursday in the EL. We then had the travelling and also the quarantine, which took a lot out of the side. The players gave a perfect response and we directed play from the start and played really well. We created many chances but the first goal did not come that quickly. We settled down after the opening goal. The old saying: score a goal and you learn how to play was valid in today's game. We were more aggressive and agile following the first goal and we began to play. The chances came one after the other and we comfortably won" - commented the Vidi manager.

Predrag Rogan:

"Truth be told, we can't add too much to today's match. Congratulations to MOL Fehervar and Gabor Marton for the superior victory. Tonight the team produced a game of passion and unwillingness to win, it was a sad day for us and our fans too. We lost every battle and we weren’t focused, we didn’t focus properly on the game, we didn’t take advantage of our opportunities, our strikers lost the balls and our defenders couldn’t compete with the strikers of Fehervar. The defeat is ugly, even after the first half , we went to the break at 0-0. In the future we have to be braver, we have to find our way back to victory." - commented the Ujpest manager following the game.
