The two managers shared their thoughts after Saturday's 0-0 draw.
Gabor Marton:
"We have room to improve, that's for sure ... We started training on Monday, the players got a pretty heavy load on Friday as well, that's why almost everyone only played one half. Haladas are in a different period, which is understandable as in a week they'll be playing a league game, so it's clear that their physical condition is different. So I knew we weren't going to be fresh, but I was expecting more in the game. We didn't move too much and created a few chances, but we cannot put everything on them being tired. We should have played football better, more calmly. However, we still have time, I'm sure we will improve our game and obviously with the friendly matches we will get better and better. We have to get in perfect shape for the league start."
Janos Matyus:
"We are thankful that a big team like MOL Fehervar FC have come to us in Szombathely, thank you for visiting and above all for the opportunity to play them. In my opinion we played in a really good match. We knew that Vidi are still at the beginning of pre-season. We wanted to take away the class difference between the two teams on the pitch and I think it worked out, but these matches can be very deceptive.
Starting from today's match, we look forward to our main task, which will be next Sunday in Siofok, where our first league match of the season will follow. I wish Vidi a lot of success for the season ahead”
