Fourth placed Puskas Academy next up on Saturday

The Puskas Academy FC visit the MOL Arena Sosto on Saturday afternoon in match 13 of the league season. Our opponents are currently in 4th place going into the match and transfermarkt.de values their squad at 8,83 million euros, which is the fourth highest in the first division. They have suffered recent defeats to both Honved (1-2) and Ujpest 1-3 to slip back to fourth. 

The most valuable player is well known to Vidi fans in the form of Adam Gyurcso. He is valued at 1 million euros and is closely followed by Henty (700,00€) and Thomas Meissner (650,000€). Both of them arrived in the summer to strengthen the squad. Other arrivals that have been starters for the first team are Vanecek and Van Nieff. Top goalscorer with 5 to his name is Gyurcso who arrived at the end of August. He has only played 600 minutes but has already found the net several times. Henty and Vanecek are both behind him with 4 goals each. 

The Canadian Table sees our former winger lead with 5+1 while the Czech forward is just behind on 4+2. Knezevic is third on 2+4. Ever present this season has been keeper Hegedus while Hadzhiev who is a central defender and international defender Zsolt Nagy have also been regulars. 

Puskas Academy have regularly provided players to the InStat team of the week. Hazdhiev has made it into the top 11 three times while both Vanecek and Gyurcso have also been present. There are several players in the Puskas squad with Vidi connections. The already mentioned Adam Gyurcso, Jozsef Varga, Ezekiel Henty, Bence Sos, Roland Szolnoki and Zsolt Nagy are just several. Laszlo Laky and Csaba Spandler were youth team players here.
