Fifth place MTK visit the MOL Arena Sosto on Sunday

MTK have won 8 of their 20 league games so far this season. There have also been 5 draws and 7 defeats. A total of 29 goals have been scored while 27 have gone in at the opposite end. Vidi suffered a 3-1 defeat at the Hidegkuti Nandor stadium in the autumn fixture. 

MTK picked up their biggest win of the 2020/2021 season following a 4-0 away win over Ujpest. Michael Boris' side repeated this away at Paks. 

The winter transfer window has seen Daniel Gera, Oliver Horvath, Mate Katona and Laszlo Lencse all leave the club. Arriving have been Nikolai Alho, Hrisztijan Georgievszki, Kaka Godwords, Marko Perkovic, Roland Varga. The latter came in from Ferencvaros and he has already scored three goals in his four league games since the move. There have also been two assists in those games. MTK progressed in the MOL Hungarian Cup on Wednesday with a 4-1 win away at Kazincbarcika. They will face Tallya on the 24th February for a place in the last 8.
