Saturday's visitors have picked up 7 points from their 7 spring matches.
Mezokovesd were promoted back to the first division last summer under then manager Attila Pinter. His side ended the Autumn season in 5th place ahead of the winter break. Pinter departed to take charge of the Puskas Academy and he was replaced by Tomiszlav Szivics. He started well as his new team beat DVTK 3-0 in the first match of spring. However, they would go on to lose four of the next five games.
They won their last match against Debrecen and go into Saturday's match in 8th place. The 26 games have produced 29 goals and conceded 37 at the other end. Top goalscorer is Gabor Molnar with 5 goals to his name.
Videoton have met Mezokovesd twice so far this season. Vidi won 2-0 at home in the autumn but then lost 2-1 in the away fixture. They most recently lined up as follows: Tujvel - Gohér, Tóth, Veselinovic (Strestik), Egerszegi, Dinjar (Bacelic-Grgic), Molnár, Hudák, Pauljevic, Szeles, Sós (Baracskai).
