The 18 year old has signed for a further three years to remain with Videoton FC
Donat Zsoter travelled to the training camp in Spain a year ago at the age of 17. He went on to score a goal in one of the friendly matches out there. He had already made his debut during the 2012-2013 season in the first team, with then manager Paulo Sousa using the talented youngster in 6 matches.
He then prepared with the first team squad at the beginning of this season, without playing in a league match. However, he was a regular for the Vidi II side, producing good performances. Zsoter featured in the 4-0 friendly win over Dunaujvaros, scoring a very nice goal in that match. The youngster has now signed a three year contract extension with Videoton FC.
"The idea of this contract extension was first brought up several months ago, as the club count on me in the long term. I also feel really good at Vidi and am pleased that things have been signed. I did not receive too many chances over the autumn season, which is also down to me, but I am young and I have time and hope that I can show what I can do. Everyone at the club has been really helpful towards me, so I await the spring season with plenty of hope. We will soon be travelling to our training camp where we will play against good sides, which is important as we have to prepare to the maximum for the second half of the season. I want us to catch up the four points with Debrecen and win the league. I hope that I can also add to achieve these aims" - commented Donat Zsoter to vidi.hu.
