Vidi take on FTC with three very important league points up for grabs.
On Wednesday evening at 20:00, defending champions FTC visit the MOL Arena Sóstó. Our opponents started this season with a surprise defeat at home to Kisvárda, the current league leaders managed to win 2-1 in Budapest. The Green and Whites won all their next three league games (FTC-Mezőkövesd 4-1, FTC-DVSC 4-2, Bp. Honvéd-FTC 0-1) and are currently in 3rd place in the table, having postponed two of their games due to their involvement in Europe. One of those games was against us and that will now be played on Wednesday night, while their match against Puskás Akadémia will take place next January.
The summer transfer window saw some big changes in the Ferencváros squad. A total of 16 players left Üllői út, eight of them permanently and eight going out on loan. One of them, Marcel Heister, has been our player since the summer. Of course, there were not only departures, but also arrivals with 12 of them joining the Green and Whites, who started the new season under head coach Peter Stöger after Rebrov's departure at the end of the season.
