An inconsistent Ujpest will arrive at the Sostoi

Videoton face Ujpest in the final league match of 2012 on Sunday evening

Ujpest currently sit in 8th place after 16 games in the OTP league table. They have picked up 5 wins, drawn 6 and lost the remaining 5 games to date. They have also managed to score 24 goals, while conceding 21. They have become an inconsistent side this season, becoming hard to predict. The 5 defeats have seen 4 of those away from home. Ujpest have lost a single match at the Ferenc Szusza stadium, which came in the 1-0 loss to Videoton, back on the 5th August, with the winning goal coming from Sandor Torghelle.

The last 5 games have seen further inconsistency from the Budapest side. The most recent defeat came away from home at Haladas, with the Szombathely side winning 2-0. However, they do have one of the most in form players in the first division at the moment. Peter Kabat has found the back of the net 10 times so far this season. He has been in red hot form of late, with just two other Ujpest players managing to score three goals. Ex-Videoton player Dusan Vaszilijevics will sit out Sunday's game, having picked up a yellow card, which means that he will be banned. Striker Moraes will also miss the game after breaking his hand in last week's home draw with Diosgyőr.

Ujpest were surprisingly knocked out of the Hungarian cup after the second round, after Kazincbarcika beat them on their home pitch. They were also eliminated from the league cup, having picked up just 3 points from their 5 games in Group E.
