Kovacsik was named best keeper while four players made it into the team of the year.
The HLSZ presentation awards gala took place at the Puskas Pancho sports pub in Budapest on Monday.
There were four catergory's each consisting of five nominees. The best keeper went to Vidi's own Adam Kovacsik, who finished ahead of both Denes Dibusz (FTC) and Gabor Kiraly (Haladas). The award was handed over by Szabolcs Kemenes.
Davide Lanzafame of Honved won the best outfield player award. The best foreign player went to former Vidi striker Nemanja Nikolics, who now plays for Chicago Fire. The best 11 of 2016/17 included four Videoton players with Loic Nego, Paulo Vinicius, Roland Juhasz and Danko Lazovic all being picked.
