The international winger would like to repeat the Europa League success in the Champions League after the summer break.
- How would you sum up the season just finished?
I feel that everyone can be proud of the team’s performance including myself, as winning the league title was not the basic aim. We knew at the same time that our squad is strong and that we have a good manager in charge of the team. It was not a surprise for me that we ended up winning the league. We produced a balanced performance throughout the season and won our games playing good football in the autumn. This continued over the spring. The whole team were delighted when we finally won the league title, which we naturally then celebrated together. I believe that everyone was able to contribute to this and make sure that the team were successful. Fortunately I was also part of this.
- What will you do in the summer break?
We will not have too much time but we plan to go on holiday. I was not called up to the national squad this time so we will probably head off to Greece and hopefully we will have a nice week there.
- How will we do in the Champions League?
I am looking forward to us doing well. It would be great to repeat our Europa League success of 2012. Our aim cannot be anything other than to do as best we can in the Champions League.
