José Gomes: "If I would be a Videoton supporter, then I believe that I would have reacted in a similar way after the match. This is a totally normal reaction following today's result. The players are not machines and they are people with feelings. There were mistakes, bad decisions and balls, which we gave away. The number of mistakes grew as time ran out. The players started to get more and more nervous. This can happen with everybody, players, managers and the everyday person. This break comes at the best time. Everyone will have the chance to pump themselves up physically and mentally as well. We must not shy away from the fact that the team is not at its best. Our job at times like this is to help and support the players to get through this barrier. We need to look at the season as a whole, and why we started it so well, and then why our performances became very up and down. We must also not forget that we lost key players through injury during the season. The recovery of these players was much more complicated and a tougher task, than the person from the outside would think. I will have to think through the details, while analyzing the events, but I know overall what is needed to rediscover the form from the start of the season. I can talk for hours about these things, but whatever I say, it would be seen as explanations. The main thing is that we have enough energy, knowledge and strength to change the present situation. A football managers life always depends on the management of the club. I cannot see inside their heads. I know that I am the suitable person to lead this project. I know what the aims are, and also know what is needed to achieve them. The decision is down to the owner. When I said that we would be champions, I gave my face to this, and I undertook and still undertake to carry out what I said. I am the most suitable person for this project."

Máté Csaba: "I brought to the attention of the players before the game, exactly how much importance there was to today's game. Not only for us but also for the Fehervar side. It was especially important for us to have a real chance of finishing in such a position in the league, which would see us qualify for the Europa League. We managed to take a quick lead, which gave us confidence, which we needed, as we have not been in the best of form over recent weeks. I was counting on Videoton FC being dangerous from dead ball situations, and this is how it turned out. We scored two quick goals at the start of the second half, and it appeared as if the fate of the match would be settled. Vidi did not give things up and managed to score a consolation goal. They could have even levelled at the end, but we got something back today, which had been taken away from us until now."
