Zsolt Szabo will referee the match with Paks

The experienced match official will take charge when Vidi travel to play Paks at the weekend

Zsolt Szabo will take control of Saturday's away league match against Paks. Paulo Sousa's side will be looking to get over their 1-0 defeat against Győr, and the match with Paks provides the perfect opportunity. Szabo made his debut in the first division back on the 7th September 1996, in a match between Vacs and Pecs. He has made the fifth most appearances as a match official in Hungary. Szabo has also been refereeing games abroad for twelve years now, and is a regular among the Europa League matches. He refereed four Europa league games in the autumn of 2009, and received high marks for his performances. He was voted top referee for the 2001/2002 season as well.

Szabo took control of last season's league cup match between DVTK and Vidi, and was also in the middle in the away league game in Kecskemet. This will be his second game involving Vidi this season. He was the referee for the match, which saw Honved take the three points from the Sostoi earlier this season. Szabo will be assisted by Lémon Oszkár and Takács Gábor.
