Zé Luis: We need to be better if we are to reach our targets

"We made a fantastic start to the season, which unfortunately was followed by us falling back towards the end of the half season. The results did not go the way we would have expected them to. We are all clear in the fact that we will have to work much better in the spring if we are to reach our aims, which is to be champions. We will all have to rest during the winter break, but I think that at the back of all the players’ minds, is the thought of how we can improve things as a team over the pre-season period. It took me a while to settle in when I arrived, and there were both good and not so good moments on the pitch, but then I fully settled and scored 4 goals in the first division. The home match against Ujpest was the most successful one for me, which saw me score twice. The team also played very well that day. If you are curious about the most memorable goal that I scored, my answer would be that I have not scored that yet for Vidi. I hope that there will be plenty for me to choose from over the spring season. I will spend the majority of the break in Portugal, but there are also plans to travel to both France and the Cape Verde Islands" - commented Zé Luis to Vidi.hu
