We visit the home of the Hungarian record champions on Sunday

On Sunday at 17:45 we play the 35-time Hungarian champions Ferencváros, where we managed to get all three points last time.

On 20th October at 17:45 we will play FTC for the 114th time in the top division. Of the 113 games played against each other, FTC have won 54 of them, with 31 draws and 28 victories for Vidi. The goal difference is 184-121 in favour of the Budapest team, an average of almost three goals per game. Sunday will be our 55th NB I championship match, with the green and whites winning 31 times and drawing 10 times and us celebrating 13 times. The last time we won 1-0 at the Groupama Arena last November with a goal from substitute Levente Szabó.

This season FTC qualified for the sixth time in a row in the qualifying round of the European international competition and will play in the main draw of the renewed Europa League in the autumn. So far, FTC have played two matches, losing 2-1 away to Anderlecht and at home to Tottenham. They continue their campaign at the Groupama Arena, where they host OGC Nice, Malmö and AZ Alkmaar, while away they face Dinamo Kiev, PAOK and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ferencváros started the season with the confidence of defending champions, conceding no goals in their first three matches (FTC vs KTE 1-0, DVTK vs FTC 0-2, FTC vs Újpest 1-0), before going on to beat Nyíregyháza (2-1), MTK (3-1) and Puskás Akadémia FC (3-0). In the previous round, Jansen Pascal's side suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to bogey side Paks, but they also progressed confidently in the MOL Hungarian Cup after a 3-0 win at the home of NB II Budafok.

FTC's top scorer in the season with 4 goals is Brazilian Matheus Saldanha.
