We visit the home of seventh-placed ZTE FC on Saturday

Our opponent has scored one goal in five NB I league matches this year. The game will kick off at 14:30.

On Saturday we will play at 14:30 at the ZTE Arena. This will be the 89th meeting of the two teams in the top flight, the 88 matches so far have resulted in a big Vidi advantage. With 40 red-blue wins and 25 draws, Zalaegerszeg has won 23 times against us, with a goal difference of 146-99 in our favour. ZTE won only one of our last 15 league games against each other, we drew six times and took the three points in eight of them.

ZTE FC have won six of their 20 league games so far this season, drawing six and losing eight. In 2023, our opponents on Saturday, have not scored a goal in an NB I game, losing 3-0 to DVSC and 1-0 to PAFC, while they drew 0-0 against Mezőkövesd and Vasas.

In the winter, there was not too much player movement at all in Zalaegerszeg, with only two arrivals and three departures. Hungarian U17 international Bence Balabás returned from Austria, but has not yet been included in the ZTE team, while Eros Grezda recently returned to ZTE - the Albanian international has scored one goal in five games in the NB I.
