Attila Kuttor's side have yet to concede a goal in a competitive match in 2023.
On Friday evening at 20:00 we play Mezőkövesd in the 19th round of the OTP Bank Liga NB I. Our opponent - like us - has 20 points after 18 rounds and are only behind us in the table because of a worse goal difference. Interestingly, only two teams have beaten the newcomer Kecskemét in the 18 rounds so far - Mezőkövesd and us.
Friday will be the 22nd meeting between the two teams in the top flight. We have won 12 of the 21 league games we have played so far, with 6 draws and only 3 Mezőkövesd wins - all three in Mezőkövesd. The goal difference is 31-15 in our favour. We are preparing for the 12th meeting at Mezőkövesd, They have won three of the 11 league games so far, and we have managed to take all three league points from Matyóföld on four occasions with four draws.
Mezőkövesd played six pre-season games during the winter break, winning two, losing two and drawing two. Attila Kuttor's team had a training camp in Turkey from 4-14 January.
