The red and blacks of the capital changed coaches on Monday, which is surprising because the Kispesti side won their last two games.
On Saturday at 14:15 our team will play at the Bozsik Arena in the 13th round of the OTP Bank Liga NB I. This will be the 114th meeting between the two teams in the top league, of the 113 league games played so far, the capital side has won 48, with 21 draws and 44 successes for Fehérvár. The goal difference is 151-136 in favour of Honvéd. With Budapest Honvéd playing on their home pitch, we have won six of our last ten league games against them, losing twice with two draws.
After 12 rounds, Honvéd are in eighth place in the table with three wins, four draws and five defeats, collecting 13 points. In round 2, at the MOL Arena Sósto, we won 4-0 against Kispest with goals from Dárdai, Kodro, Funsho and Zivzivadze.
Budapest Honvéd are still winless at home this season, losing 1-0 to ZTE FC in the first round, and since then they have played four draws (3-3 against Paks, 0-0 against Újpest and Kecskemét, 2-2 against Mezőkövesd). All three of their wins have come away from home, with a 1-0 win at Kisvárda, a 2-1 win at Vasas and a 2-0 win at Zalaegerszeg in the last round.
It is interesting to note that the capital club changed their head coach after two victories in the MOL Hungarian Cup, when they beat Haladás last week and ZTE in the league a few days later, but Tam Courst had to leave. He was replaced by Dean Klafuric, who will make his debut for Budapest Honvéd against Vidi on Saturday. He'll be assisted by Damir Milanovic, who played for Vidi's first team in the 2010/2011 season.
