We have signed a professional contract with our talented striker Dániel Bertók, who came up through our own youth system!

Born on the 10th July 2006, Bertók, who can play both in the center and on the wing, first played for our youth team between 2016 and 2018. He also played for Főnix and Puskás Akadémia before returning to Vidi in the summer of 2021. He played for our U16, U17 and U19 teams and made 12 appearances in the NB III league in the 2023/2024 season. Last season, as a key player in our U19 team, he scored 14 goals in the league and one in the cup.

"I already had the opportunity to train with the first team a few times this spring, and I've been doing my summer pre-season with the first team since the first week. It wasn't difficult for me to settle in, as I already knew the young players in the squad and some of my more experienced teammates, and they welcomed me into the dressing room. The tempo is higher and more physical in adult football, but I feel I've managed to pick up the pace. I consider it a great opportunity to be able to train with the first team. I had a good season with the U19s last season, so I was confident that I would get a chance to prove myself with the senior team. I can learn a lot from the experienced players in the attacking line, who have already made a name for themselves in Hungarian football, and they always help me with their comments on a daily basis. I consider it a great honor and a huge opportunity to have signed my first professional contract with Videoton. I think it's every kids dream in Fehérvár's to prove themselves here and play in this stadium.
