The experienced match official is regarded as one of the best in the world today

Viktor Kassai was born in Tatabanya, and went on to take his refereeing badge in 1990. He joined the list of match officials in 1999, and has been refereeing games since 2003. He has also refereed the Argentina v Nigeria Olympic games finals in Beijing, as well as the Spain v Germany World cup match in South Africa. He is regarded by many to be among the best in the world today. Kassai took charge of last season's 1-0 away win at Ferencvaros, but has already been involved in a game with Videoton this season. That was the 3-1 away win at Siofok. He will be assisted by Takács Gábor and Kispál Róbert for Sunday's big game with Debrecen.
