Vidi train at the Zimbru stadium on Wednesday evening

Henning Berg took part in a press conference on Wednesday before holding a training session for his players at the main stadium.

A win and going through is the target

The match between Zaria Balti and Videoton FC will kick off at 19:00pm local time on Thursday evening. The players went through a training session on Wednesday evening at the Zimbru stadium, while manager Henning Berg and Asmir Suljic took part in a press conference.

Suljic mentioned that the host side did not achieve a good result last week in Felcsut, which is why he is counting on the second leg being a tougher affair from the start. He is sure that they will try and cut the deficit. Vidi have prepared suitably for the return leg and they will be looking to prove this on Thursday that they are a better side, and that the 3-0 win was not a surprise result, but a realistic one.

"We picked up a good result in the first leg and we will go into the return leg in a good situation. I am counting on our opponents doing all they can to get back into the tie. I want us to play a good match and naturally win it. We will be going out with the same attitude as we did a week ago in Felcsut" - commented manager Henning Berg at the press conference.

The squad went through a short warm up following the press conference, before playing a game against each other as part of the program.

Zaria are not giving up

While the Vidi squad trained on the pitch, the home side held their own press conference for the local media. Player Gheorghe Boghiu, and head coach Vlad Goian were present to answer questions.

The Moldovian striker said that a 100% performance will not be enough, and that it will need to be 150% if they are to go through. The 45 year old coach highlighted the fact that his team will be playing for the supporters, and although he will have two important players missing through suspension, they will not give up the battle.
