Vidi squad arrive at their Spanish training base

The journey went smoothly with José Gomes taking his first training session in the evening.

Videoton's squad departed the Sostoi stadium at 7:30am on Monday morning on route to Vienna airport. The players boarded the Air Berlin flight at 11:20, which landed around an hour and a half later at Mallorca airport. There was not too much time to enjoy the Balearic Island as the next leg of the journey meant another flight at 16:30 to Malaga. The squad arrived at their hotel in southern Spain where they checked into their rooms. One note of interest is that Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest are also staying at the same hotel. José Gomes took the players for their first training session at a pitch close to the hotel in the evening.

The squad is complete apart from two players. Paraiba will travel to Hungary on the 31st January, while he continues his rehabilitation in Brazil. The other player missing is Zsolt Haraszti, who still has to undergo some medical tests in Hungary. Once these have been completed, within a maximum of days, Haraszti will travel out to join up with the others in Spain.
