The Videoton squad arrived in the afternoon and headed out for their first training session
Paulo Sousa and his Videoton squad left Budapest airport this morning for Milan. The plane touched down at Milan Bergamo airport at 12:30pm, before boarding a coach for the last leg of a long journey to the mountain region close to Lake Garda. The tiny village of San Giacomo, which sits beautifully within the picturesque scenery will be home to the Videoton squad as they prepare for the season ahead. The players checked in upon arrival and headed straight for a light lunch and an hour rest. The players met up at 17:30pm to board the team bus for the approximately 10km journey to the training pitch. Paulo and his coaching staff put his players through their paces, with gentle runs and plenty of ball work and movement off the ball. They then boarded the coach following the 90 minute session, before sitting down for a joint meal.
There are two training session planned for Saturday, one at 10am and the second at 18:00pm.
