Vidi kick off the new season against a ZTE team that ended the last campaign in ninth place

We look at our first opponents of the new 2021-2022 league season. 

On Sunday at 17:45 we will start the new 2021/2022 season as guests of ZTE FC. Our opponent finished 9th in the league last season. Interestingly, we also started the new season last year away at Zalaegerszeg, then we played out a six-goal match against the blue-and-whites in a 3-3 draw. We beat ZTE 2-0 at home and away in our two other league matches.

In the summer transfer window so far, 9 players have left and 10 have joined ZTE.

Not only players have left Zalaegerszeg, as Vidi's new sporting director István Sallói has just arrived to Székesfehérvár from ZTE FC. 

The Blue-Whites played their last pre-season game against AEK Larnaca, and head coach Róbert Waltner chose the following eleven of Demjén - Serafimov, Kálnoki, Bobál, Gergényi - Sankovic, Bedi - Babati, Koszta, Milovanovikj - Zimonyi. The match ended in a 0-0 draw.
