ETO FC advanced in the MOL Hungarian Cup thanks to two goals scored in the second half.
In the MOL Hungarian Cup on Thursday evening, our team visited ETO FC's home ground. Head coach Tamás Pető sent the following starting eleven onto the pitch: Kemenes - Köllő, Somogyi, Kocsis - Simut, Zsótér, Murka, Geiger - Bertók, Kovács P., Kovács B. A crowd of 6,218, including nearly 500 Fehérvár fans, turned out for the match.

In the sixth minute, Bumba's shot over the bar was the first attempt, then in the 18th minute, we blocked Schön's shot after a corner. In the 21st minute, Kemenes saved Njie's shot from a sharp angle on the right, and in the 24th minute, Bumba's shot bounced off the post for a corner. In the 27th minute, Njie headed wide after a cross from the right, and two minutes later, Bumba shot over from 13 meters after a cross from Schön on the left. In the 32nd minute, Patrik Kovács' shot went over the bar, and in the last five minutes of the half, Kemenes saved Vitális' shot, and after a scramble in front of the goal, we cleared the ball. Defending steadily and allowing our opponents few chances, we ended the half 0-0.
We made three substitutions during the break, with Dékei, Krisztián Kovács, and the newly signed Hesz coming on. In the 53rd minute, Kemenes made a very good save from Njie's header following a corner, and in the 60th minute, our goalkeeper made another great save from Vitális' free kick. In the 64th minute, substitute Benbouali broke through and shot past Kemenes into the bottom right corner (1-0). In the 78th minute, our goalkeeper made another very smart save from Njie's shot. We pushed forward despite being behind and tried to equalize, with Ominger and Bedi also coming on. However, it was the home team that scored, with Köllő unluckily deflecting the ball into our goal from a right-wing corner in the first minute of added time (2-0). The score remained unchanged after that, with our team putting up a good fight at the home of the NB I second placed team, but Győr advanced to the quarter-finals.
