Vidi at home to 7th place Mezokovesd on Tuesday

Match 19 of the OTP league season sees Vidi at home to Mezokovesd Zsory FC on Tuesday evening. The game will be played behind closed doors with a 20:00pm kick off. 

Our visitors go into the game in seventh place and having put together a good run of results. They have collected 13 points from their last 5 games. That has taken them from a relegation position to mid-table. Attila Pinter took over as manager in November having replaced Attila Kuttor. They have gone on to win five of the eight games since and have lost just twice. They have scored the least amount of goals (19) in the league but there can be no complaints about the number of conceded goals. Those total 24, which is joint fourth best. Our former player Zsombor Berecz has scored the most goals with 4 to his name. They started the spring season with a 0-0 draw against Kisvarda. That was followed up by a 3-2 home win over Ujpest. 

In the MOL Hungarian Cup, Attila Pinter's side are looking to make it to the final 16 and need to overcome NB II side Ajka on the 10th February. They have knocked out NB III side Gyongyos (4-1) and county league one side Mandok 8-1. 

We won 2-1 away at Mezokovesd in the autumn with our goals coming from Nego and Houri. We have played host to Tuesday's opponents seven times over the years and those have resulted in six wins and a draw.
