The battle at both ends of the league is proving to be very exciting this season.
Ujpest FC sit in seventh place in the OTP league table after 30 league games. They have won nine, drawn twelve, which is the most in the division, and lost the remaining nine games. The lilacs have scored 45 goals with top goalscorer Enis Bardhi finding the back of the opponents net 14 times. Nebosa Vignjevics' side returned back to their home stadium in February, having temporarily played their games in Kecskemet and in Budapest's Faj street stadium. However, they have yet to win a home game during the current spring season and have drawn three and lost two of their five games there. Looking overall at the season, Ujpest have picked up a point three times on their home pitch.
The race for the league title is proving exciting but the same can be said at the other end of the table. The lilacs are just four points above MTK, who occupy one of the relegation places. That means that it is sure to be a tough game on Saturday evening.
Vidi have already beaten Ujpest away from home during the current 2016-17 season. That was a seven goal thriller that ended 4-3 to the red and blues. The two met again in February in Felcsut, but this time Vidi had a more comfortable result of 5-1.
Ujpest most recently lost 1-0 against Debrecen and lined up as follows: Banai, Heris, Kálnoki Kis, Windecker, Bardhi, Balogh, Mohl, Andric (Hazard), Diarra, Balázs (Perovic), Szűcs.
