Videoton lend their help to make the pitch playable for Saturday

Vasas' Illovszky stadium pitch is currently under 3-5cm of snow

The current state of the pitch at Vasas' Illovszky stadium

Videoton's technical manager, Endre Varga travelled to Budapest on Tuesday afternoon for a short visit. He went to Vasas' Illovszky stadium, which is the venue of this weekend's Monicomp league match between Vasas and Videoton. He walked around the Vasas pitch, together with their technical manager, Peter Antal, to check it's current state. The plan is for Videoton to lend suitable machinery, which can clear the pitch of the current snow, and make it playable for Saturday. There is currently 3-5cm of snow covering the main pitch, and Videoton will deliver machinery to the stadium, in Budapest, on Wednesday morning. However, the Hungarian FA will also hold a meeting on Thursday,  to decide whether this weekend's football matches can go ahead at all, due to the wintry weather in Hungary.
