Two make their debut in the match with Papa

Zsolt Haraszti and Adrian Szekeres played thier first league game for Videoton

Adrian Szekeres: "I was delighted to get the chance to play straight away in the first league match, especially as it was at home. My happiness was blighted a little by the end result, as I felt that we should have won the match. Papa took advantage of the only chance that came their way, while we created several chances. We were not able to score more than one goal in the end. We tried our best to begin the league season with a win, but unfortunately this was not the case. The fact that I started the match was not that unexpected. We will need to learn from the mistakes in Sunday's match, but now we are fully focused on the battle with Gent. I hope that many will come out to the match, just as they did in the second leg with Slovan, to support the team. I also hope that we can gain a result, which will give us hope going into the second leg."

Zsolt Haraszti: "This was my first match for Videoton, as I have yet to play at the Sostoi stadium. I was a little bit nervous at the start. I think that this could be seen in my game, but I managed to pick up the tempo as the game continued. I was also very pleased that the manager chose me in the starting line up, as I had not played in a game for four weeks. Sadly the end result was not what we had hoped for, as we missed several chances on Sunday evening. We will look back over the Papa match today, but the players are already preparing for the Europa league game with Gent on Thursday. I would like us to get a result in the home leg, which will give us a real chance going into the second game in Belgium."
