Gyorgy Mezey spoke shortly after the final whistle about how he saw Wednesday's cup match
György Mezey: "This was a real cup match, where we came up against a good Honved side in the first half. The second half saw the substitutes come on, and we played well, and created chances, which could have won us the match. I am confidently waiting for next week's second leg. Today's match gave me the chance to see how we could replace three players who are currently out injured. They are Daniel Nagy, Balazs Farkas and Akos Elek, who are not ready for first team action, which is a real problem for us. We still have two days, and we will see how things are on Saturday. Bojan Djordjic received a kick to his knee, and I did not want to push him too much as a result, which is why he came off. Both Gosztonyi and Nikolics did well when they came on. They made the equalising goal between them."
Attila Supka: "This was a typical cup match, where we came up against good oponents in Videoton. Both sides had the chance to turn the tie into their favour. This did not happen in the end, and the draw will give both teams the chance to battle to go through to the next round."
