Vidi picked up an important three points at Zalaegerszeg
Gyorgy Mezey: "We played in a very good match, which began just as we had talked about it beforehand. I saw out on the pitch those things that we had done in training during the week, and what I had asked of them. We also created a few lovely chances, which we managed to score one goal from. I was also prepared at the break for their manager to change his line up. Their equaliser lifted them while it knocked us back a little. The team coped during that period. You could see towards the end of the second half, that the ZTE defence began to open up. It was at the same time as I sent on my substitutes, and we scored the winner after a nice counter attack. If I look at the game overall, I can be satisfied until a certain point, as I had expected a smoother victory. However, it is worth mentioning that it is always very valuable to get three points at Zalaegerszeg. The pitch was worse than when we first looked at it, and the muddy deep pitch does not help our style of football. Luckily the players adapted to the conditions, and showed the needed mentality to get the result."
Csank János: "Videoton were very well prepared today, although this does not surprise us, as we knew what we had to count on. Sadly our team were not precise, and the visitors came at us well, often doing it in our half, which caused problems for our lines. Luckily they were unable to convert all of the chances. We had fewer chances, and they came after the half hour mark. The battle was the main aspect of the second half on this pitch. We only managed to score one goal, which was not enough. We lost against a big team, but we left the pitch with our heads held high."
