Gyorgy Mezey spoke shortly after the final whistle
Videoton produced a comfortable home performance on Wedensday evening. The 4-0 home wins means that it is Vidi who will now meet Kecskemet in the cup final.
Gyorgy Mezey: ""It appeared to me as if Kaposvar gave up a little bit, which made things easier for us in the end. I understand their situation as they have a big game with Debrecen to prepare for. I think they will make it into the top three if they manage to beat them. I felt as if they were concentrating on that game instead. The players ended up scoring nice goals in the end, and I was pleased to see Denes Szakaly back in action. Adam Gyurcso will also come into contention, while Dani nagy complained of pain in his thigh area. He will find it difficult to break into the side as Gosztonyi is in great form right now. We will prepare correctly for the final, and I feel that we will beat Kecskemet."
Tibor Sisa: "At the time when the draw for the semi finals was made, everyone wanted to avoid Videoton, as they are the best team in the country right now. We knew that things would be difficult for us today, and that we had to go into the match a goal down from the first leg. We tried to play an honest game today, but we conceded two early goals, which did not help things. That made it almost impossible to turn the match around, and the home side took advantage of any mistakes we made. They had two shots on goal, and they both went in.
