The two manager's spoke to the media after the final whistle.
Pető Tamás: Lech deserved to win and go through to the group stages. We started the game well and had chances, but again could not score a goal. The visitors then went ahead at the start of the second half following a lack of concentration, and then went on to play as a team needs to in a similar situation. They held on to the ball and slowed things down. I was hoping for a strike of good fortune before the game, but I could not see anything like this in the match. Oliveira, Gyurcso, Patkai and Simon were all not included in the starting eleven, due a lack in either physical or mental condition and not being in a state to play an entire match.
Maciej Skorza: My players played with concentration throughout and we controlled the game, which I am very pleased about. We wanted to take the lead as soon as possible, to stop Videoton from coming back, but this did not go according to plan and the home team had a serious chance. Things could have been different had that gone in, but fortunately things did not go that way. We then scored at the start of the second half. That made things more easier and pushed us even closer to going through to the next stage. I hope that we can do well in the group stage.
