Tamas Bognar will take charge of the home league game with Paks

Videoton go in search of three important points at the Sostoi at the weekend

Tamas Bognar will officiate the important home league game with Paks on Saturday. José Gomes will be looking for his Vidi side to pick up all three points on offer, which would see Vidi remain in the top three in the league table. Bognar took his refereeing badge back in 1995, making his way through various county leagues to gain experience. He was then recommended to move up to take charge of division two games in 2002. He continued to progress and eventually joined the first division group of match officials in 2006. His debut game came that season when Kaposvar beat Papa 1-0 on the 8th April 2006.

Bognar took charge of three games involving Videoton last season. They were the 4-1 home win over Pecs, while he also refereed the return match later that season, which saw Vidi record a good 3-1 away win. The experienced official was also in the middle for the final game of season 2011/2012, which resulted in a Peric double giving the red and blues maximum points away at Ujpest. Bognar also officiated the Super cup final against Debrecen, which ended with a penatly shootout victory for the boys from Fehervar.

He will be assisted by Vencel Tóth and Gabor Takács, while the fourth official will be Gergely Szőts.
