There have been 85 games between the two so far
The first game:
The two clubs first met in a league match and resulted in a win. Season 1968 saw newly promoted Videoton meet Győr in the fourth match of the season. The game took place in Fehervar on the 24th March 1968, and a single Laszlo Karsai goal was enough to get the win.
A legelső győri bajnoki:
That was also in 1968 when the two met in the 24th game of that season. Győri ETO won that game 2-1 in front of their own supporters on the 3rd November, with Karoly Balogh scoring Vidi's goal that day.
The biggest win:
There have been five wins since 1968 in first division games, which has seen Vidi win by four goals. Two of those was away in Győr. It is interesting to note that two 4-0 wins took place in successive seasons. Weekend 18 of the 2002/03 season saw goals from Ferenc Roth (2), Attila Korsos and Norbret Toth scoring one each, away at Győr. The following season saw a Magasfoldi double, Savu and Toth goals do the damage in a 4-0 Vidi win.
The top goalscorer:
That goes to 1980's striker Jozsef Szabo (pictured) who found the back of the ETO net 9 times. He was closely followed by Laszlo Tiber and Tibor Wollek, who have both scored 7 times against the green and whites.
The last win at Gyor:
That came in season 2008/09 at weekend 27, on the 9th May 2009, when Vidi won 2-1 in Győr, with goals from Goran Vujovics and Alison Silva.
