Stopira receives hospital visit

The defender suffered a bad injury in the final moments of last week's 3-0 Europa League win over Sporting

Vidi.hu made a visit to the St Gyorgy hospital in Szekesfehervar during the week. The left back broke his shin bone in the final moments of the 3-0 home win over Sporting. The defender is always happy and smiling, and the same was evident during the hospital visit. He said that he was feeling good, taking in to consideration the circumstances, and is pleased that his wife and child are both with him in hospital, which makes the time go by much quicker.

Stopira also said that he watched Sunday's match against Ferencvaros from his hospital bed. He felt very emotional when he saw the other players wearing a t-shirt with his name on it. The words "All with you" were printed on to the white shirts, with the number 22 on the reverse. The doctors also gave good news regarding his injury. The most important aspect is that he is recovering quickly, and he will shortly be able to return to his flat in Fehervar, where he can continue his recovery. We wish him a speedy return to fitness, and look forward to seeing him in the red shirt of Videoton shortly.
