Slovenia U21 team played a 1-1 draw with Gradisar in the starting line-up

Vidi's young striker played 83 minutes in the away qualifier for the European Championship against France.

On Friday evening, the France vs Slovenia U21 European Championship qualifier took place in Angers. The Slovenian side were top of the group after five rounds with four wins and one defeat, while the French side were in second place with nine points but one less match to play.

Last year in Slovenia, the French won 4-0, but this time it was the visiting Slovenians who took the lead, with Grazer AK midfielder Tio Cipot scoring in the 37th minute. Vidi's young striker Nejc Gradisar was given a starting place. France equalised in the second half, with PSG's Desire Doue scoring.

The 1-1 draw means France slip back to 3rd place, as Austria won 2-0 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Gradisar's side remain top of the group. Next up for Slovenia U21s is a trip to Cyprus next Tuesday in Muras.
