The first match between the two:

The first game between the two took place in 1968, with eventual league champions Ferencvaros winning the match 1-0

The first Vidi win:

Videoton had to wait until the 6th encounter between the two, which took place in the 1971/72 season. The red and blues emerged 4-3 winners at the Sostoi stadium, with the goals coming from Tamas Szalmasy (2), Laszlo Karsai and Imre Burka finding the back of the net.

The longest unbeaten run:

Six is the magic number again, with Vidi twice going on 6 match unbeaten runs against the green and whites. The first run began on the 4th April 1974 and lasted until the 7th June 1977. The second series of results started on the 26th November 1983 and run until the 6th December 1986. It is interesting to note that Vidi are on a current run of 5 unbeaten games against Ferencvaros, going back to the 21st August 2004.

The biggest win:

Videoton have twice managed to hit Ferencvaros for three! The 1977/78 season saw Vidi beat 'FTC' 3-0, while a year later the Fehervar side hit 5 as they cruised to a 5-2 away win, with the goals coming from Szabó József 2, Tiber László, Baranyi Sándor, Burcsa Győző.

The top goalscorer:

Laszlo Tiber and Jozsef Szabo have been successful hitmen against Ferencvaros. Both have scored 9 times against the Budapest side, with Ferenc Horvath on 7. Attila Polonkai from today's squad is the only player to have scored a goal against them.
