The first match:
The first league game between the two was back in 1968, in weekend 11 of that season. The match was played on the 26th March in Szekesfehervar, with Honved winning 2-1. Vidi's goal came from Laszlo Kovacs. The return leg in Kispest produced a 2-1 away win for Videoton, whose goals came from Laszlo Kovacs and Karoly Balogh.
The biggest win:
Vidi have managed to beat Honved by a three goal margin on four occasions. Three of those have produced a 4-1 win, with the other ending 3-0. The first 4-1 win happened on the 29th April 1995, when Zoran Kuntics, Ferenc Horvath scored two each. June 23rd 2001 saw a similar scoreline with Leo (2), Julinho and Daniel Usvat being on target. The last 4-1 win was on the 25th September 2004, with goals from Zoltan Hercegfalvi, Tibor Szabo, Attila Kriston and Balazs Toth finding the back of the net. Vidi's other 3-0 win over the Budapest side was back on the 21st August 2005, with Mario Bozics, Balazs Farkas and David Disztl scoring. This game also saw the opening of the brand new main stand.
Biggest defeat:
That was a 5-0 beating on the 6th June 1987 and another one on the 28th October 1995.
The longest unbeaten run:
The longest run has produced a series of 4 games from the 20th June 1973 until the 16th November 1974, when Vidi won three games and drew the other.
The longest run without a win:
That was a long run, which lasted 8 games, from November 16th 1974 until the 18th February 1978, when a 1-0 home win ended that bad run.
The best performance:
WIthout doubt came from Zoltan Csucsanszky, who scored a hatrick back in the 1988/1989 season against Honved. That game took place on the 25th March 1989 when a 3-1 win was enough to pick up the points.
