Paraiba begins his rehabilitation

The forward is expected to be back in action next February/March at the earliest.

Paraiba suffered a Fatigue metatarsal fracture back in the middle of October. That required an operation, which was carried out a few days later. The operation went well and the player is now wearing a lighter cast, which means that there is nothing to stop Paraiba from carrying out some rehabilitation work.

"Paraiba has been doing some cycling work for the moment, but he has also been strengthening his upper body each day. Our aim is to keep the muscles at one level. They will take the cast off in around a month from the player's leg. That is when we will begin the next phase of his rehabilitation. The timing is a little bit unlucky, as we are just ahead of the winter break, which means that Paraiba will have to do some hard work during this period. We hope that he will be able to carry out football specific tasks by the time of our January training camp. I cannot put an exact date on when he will return, but the soonest would be around February or March" - commented club physio Szilard Purget to vidi.hu
