We didn't start well, in the 3rd minute Serafimov could only stop Rakonjak for a foul in front of our box, the awarded free kick saw Acolatse curl it into the top right corner of our goal (1-0).
The rest of the game was dominated by play, in the middle of the pitch and for a long time neither goal was in danger. In the 24th minute, Holender set up Bedi, who shot from the left side of the box, but Odyntsov saved confidently. Three minutes later, Katona's 17-metre shot deflected off Serafimov and bounced dangerously downwards, but the ball eventually evaded the goal. Another three minutes later, Milan Pető sent a nice cross towards goal, and Odyntsov made a fine save to push the ball wide.
During the break, our team's head coach Tamás Pető made two changes: Bedi and Katona stayed in the dressing room, replaced by Kalmár and Stefanelli. The game did not change much at the beginning of the second half compared to the first 45 minutes - the goals were not really in danger.
In the 60th minute, Kalmar's free kick was pushed to the side by Odyntsov, and on the counter-attack the home side were caught out by Acolatse's cross from the right. Vidi tried to change the rhythm and put more pressure on DVTK, but it was difficult to find a gap in the Miskolc defence. Six minutes later, Kalmár set up Gradisar, who shot from the left wing out of a tight angle, Odyntsov pushed the ball into the short top corner.
In the 72nd minute Diósgyőr could have doubled their lead almost from nothing, but Acolatse bombed a cross from the edge of the box over the goal from close range. The home side came out more and more, we mobilised a lot of energy to equalise, but the home side found it easier to get behind us. In the 75th minute, Rakonjac tried to lift the ball 23 metres out from Dala, who was out of his goal, but the ball went well over the bar.
In the 79th minute, Gradisar beat his defender, raced on to the ball and curled a 16-metre drive from outside the box to the right, which cleared the top bar. In the 87th minute, Kalmar's free-kick was headed over by Serafimov from 12 metres. As normal time was about to end, Kalmar shot wide from 17 metres.
In the three minutes of extra time, Feuillassier unleashed a powerful shot from 18 metres out, Dala making a spectacular save to push the ball from under the bar. In the remaining time, the result remained the same as our team suffered a 1-0 defeat in Miskolc.
After the national team break, our team will host Újpest on 23rd November.
