Nemanja Nikolics continued his great start to the new season with a further two goals in Sunday's 4-1 home win over Paks.
"I have been in similar good form before, which came at the start of the 2011-2012 season, when I scored in six consecutive games for Videoton. It is true that I have never started a season as well as I have right now. It may have appeared from the outside that the match against Paks was an easy one. However, Paks played well and they did everything they could to make our job harder. I am delighted that I scored another two goals to help Vidi to a new victory. The most important aspect is that we won the match. I can promise that I will keep my feet firmly on the ground and not get carried away by the fact that I am scoring goals.
I did not have any concrete aims before the season started, and did not set a goals target, but my aim is to score every match I play in. I know that this is virtually impossible, but a forward must always go out on to the pitch, with the aim of scoring. We have a very tough task in the next league match, as we have to visit the home of last seasons champions. This will be my first visit back to the ETO park since my injury there last year. I am sure that it will be a strange experience when I first step out on to the pitch, but once the game begins, then this will no longer be in my mind, but how I can score goals to help my team to another win" - commented Nemanja Nikolcs, who has found the back of the net 7 times in the opening 4 league games.
