Michael Boris: An average performance will not be enough to be successful

The manager of MTK spoke ahead of his sides home league game with Vidi on Thursday.

“Both Vidi and Ujpest turned to the MLSZ to have their league matches brought forward, as the cup final is on Monday. This would allow their players to prepare a little bit more for the final, which could result in a better quality final. We now got into this situation as an opponent, but of course we accepted the reason, so the match will be on Thursday. After the match against Ujpest, we regenerated and discussed what happened. We won but of course not everything was perfect. Six more points can be picked up in the remaining two leagug games. Our aim is to collect all six. Against Ferencvaros, Puskas and Vidi, the average performance in the NB I is not enough for success, because their players have great individual skills, so we have to perform well as a team - we did this twice against Fehervar this season.” - commented the manager of the blue and whites.
