The Hungarian FA have made their ruling, which means the MOL Vidi FC manager will not be banned for the final.
Referee Adam Farkas sent Marko Nikolic from the touchline towards the end of the semi-final, first leg match with Debrecen. Captain Roland Juhasz picked up two yellow cards in the same game, which meant Vidi were reduced to 10 men.
Marko Nikolic was forced to watch the second leg 3-0 win over Debrecen from the stands but there was the threat of a further match hanging over him, which would mean the Hungarian Cup final against Honved.
However, the Hungarian FA disciplinary committee held a meeting on the 30th April and personally heard the appeal from Marko Nikolic and goalkeeping coach Istvan Brockhauser, who was also banned for the second leg game. The panel agreed to reduce the ban to one match and that means that both can be on the bench for the Hungarian Cup final at the Groupama Arena on the 25th May.
