The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
"I congratulate my players as we managed to keep our unbeaten run going. It is now 10 wins and a draw from the last 11 games. Today's win was a sweet one and I am pleased that the players were delighted with the success. This was a derby game for us as Honved is a big club. It was a difficult match and there were not too many chances in the game. We did not really play today with anything extra and the game was dominated by battles. I am pleased that Szabolc Huszti scored the goal at the end to get the 3 points. We now have a little bit of time for regeneration following our big games with Debrecen and FTC. It was not that easy to go out onto the pitch today. However, we are used to these amount of games and we tried to rotate things. I congratulate Honved for their performance and the battles were in a positive sense and they also played with lots of motivation."
Attila Supka :"The mood I am in at the moment means that if I say what I feel at the moment, I will be banned for a long time. It is hard to say anything after a game like this but I feel that my team played much better than Vidi. They did not have virtually a chance in the match. We had chances to win the game but we made errors in our finishing. There were so many things that influenced the outcome of the game. There was a situation that I do not understand how someone can make a decision as they did. The penalty situation was exactly that and had we taken the lead after 70 minutes, the outcome of the match would have been different. The game was filled with sneaky fouls and Kambert was fouled, but I could continue to list things. I do not think that this is part of a football match and this should have been stamped out at the start. I just collapsed when Huszti scored as my team deserved better. We will do well in the remainder of the season if we can keep this attitude."
