The two managers shared their thoughts after Saturday's league game.
Marko Nikolic:
“I congratulate my players, not only for the win but also because of the way they picked up the 3 points. It was an important and well deserved win today. It was our fifth in a row, which is the first time we have managed it this season. We played well and had our chances in the first half, which we did not manage to convert. Just like in the games with Puskas Academy and DVTK, they took advantage of the first chance that came their way. Kisvarda scored after two of our players collided. It became clear from the first minute of the second half that we were playing with a top attitude. We converted two chances and won the game. The players will get a day off to rest and then we will go forward and concentrate on Paks."
László Dajka
"Things happened the way we expected and the home side had more of the ball. They pressed their will on us in the first half, but we hit them with some dangerous counter attacks. We scored from on of those chances. We then tried to defend with organisation as Vidi tried to find a way through us. They did not manage to do that in the first half. We knew things would be very hard in the second half, and we tried to remain disciplined at the back. We wanted to try and keep the lead as long as we could and rely on the counter attack. I need to look back at their equalising goal, but perhaps there was an individual error leading up to it. The home side then pushed forward even more and tried to decide the game. They could not do it for a while but managed it in the end. I am proud of my team and we had chances in the final 10 minutes to level. Vidi opened us up on the wings more than we had planned and got behind us. We should have performed better there."
