The two managers spoke to the media shortly after the final whistle on Saturday evening.
Marko Nikolic:
"Congratulations to Ferencvaros on the win and for probably also winning the league title. We all know what a difficult run of matches we had with us virtually playing a match every three days in the entire year. We also have important players out missing. I felt we played really well in the first half until that silly sending off. We were well organised when we came out for the second half and only conceded goals from set-pieces. The last goal was handed on a plate to Ferencvaros. I am very proud of my team overall and I told them this at the final whistle. It has been such a good season. I say well done once again to the home team and although we went on a fantastic run of games and also knocked them out of the cup, they also won their matches in the league. This ended up being the deciding factor. We will carry on going forward and have a day for regeneration. Then we are back on the road on Monday to Debrecen and we would like to make it through to the Hungarian Cup final."
Sergei Rebrov:
"I congratulate the supporters for their fantastic performance and the belief that they gave the players. We wanted to get revenge for the earlier defeats. There was the fight already in the previous game with Vidi but we could not reach our target. Today we picked up a win. I asked my players at half time to be patient and that we did not have to score a goal quickly. Keep the ball and calmly convert the chances that come our way. I felt Vidi performed well today but we managed to come out on top."
