The two players, both with first division experience, arrived in Fehérvár from Paks.
Krisztián Kovács was born on 29th May 2000 in Komárno, Upper Hungary. The right-back started playing football in Győr at the age of nine and made his debut for the Győr senior team at the age of 16 in a NB III match between Videoton FC II and ETO FC Győr. However, he did not play in that match, but a few months later he made his senior debut as a substitute in a league match against Csepel. In the following years, he became one of the key players of the Győr team in NB II, and in 2022 he also played against us in the MOL Hungarian Cup, when we suffered a 2-1 defeat in Győr.
In 2023, he signed for Paksi FC in the top flight and made 29 appearances in the NB I in the 2023/2024 season, even scoring his first league goal against FTC in the summer of 2023. Kovács started last season at Paks, but spent this spring on loan at Nyíregyháza. He played for all youth national teams from U16 to U21 between 2015 and 2019.
Another player joining Vidi over the summer is Bence Kocsis, who was born on 23rd April 2001 in Marosvásárhely, Transylvania. He moved to Hungary at the age of 11 after being selected by the Puskás Academy following a trial. The left-footed midfielder, who can play in several positions, has played in all age groups in Felcsút since U13, and in the 2018/2019 season he became one of the key players of PAFC II in NB III. That season, he made two starts against Vidi II, also in NB III. In addition to his assists, he found the back of the net seven times, earning him a spot in Puskás Akadémia's NB II affiliate team in Csákvár for the following season. In two seasons, he played a total of 58 NB II league matches for the Fejér County team and scored four goals.
In 2021, he signed with MTK, where he made his NB I debut, and then at the beginning of 2022, he became a player for Paksi FC. He spent most of the 2022/2023 season on loan at PMFC in NB II. The following season, Paks loaned Kocsis out again, this time to Budafok, before he returned to the Tolna County club in the winter. He spent the previous season on loan at BVSC. He has also played for the U17, U18 and U19 national teams.
