The young midfielder continues to give us an insight from the teams base in southern Spain.
"Hello from Spain! Not too many positive things have happened with me since my last diary entry. I suffered an injury, which meant that I could not play against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the friendly match.
Sadly I can feel pain within my inner thigh, and this has not allowed me to train with the rest of the squad. I am training on my own with several regeneration exercises. I also have to take antibiotics until Sunday, which means I will also not play in Saturday's friendly match. I am really disappointed as we are perhaps at the most important time of the pre-season period. I just hope that I can be back fully fit next week with the team. The medical staff has really helped me. They have all done everything possible, to make sure that I can return back in 100% condition.
The most enjoyable time at the Spanish training camp was on Tuesday evening, when we celebrated the 22nd birthday of Roland Szolnoki. This has become a tradition over recent years that his birthday is always celebrated at our training base. I do not know if I could change birthday's with him, as it must be so hard to be away from your loved ones at such an important date. However, he is still with his other family, which is Vidi!
I am sure that you heard that the U21 manager Antal Roth was told that he would not continue in his job. I did receive a text message from him, which said that he enjoyed working with me, and how good a feeling it was for him, and he also wished me success in my career. We might be talking about a simple text message, but it did feel good to get it. I would also like to wish him the very best wherever he continues his coaching career.
That's all for now. I hope that by the next time I write my diary, I will have more positive news with regards to getting back to full fitness.
