The Videoton midfielder spoke about Saturday's game against his former side.
"I am trying to switch myself off when it comes to feelings ahead of the game on Saturday. I have been with the team now for a while, and now completely feel myself to be a Vidi player. Naturally back in December when we played away at the home of DVSC, it was a really strange feeling to step into the visiting dressing room, but even back then I was able to handle the situation. I am sure that I will not have any problems with this on Saturday. I will speak with my former Debrecen team mates after the game, but there will be no time for friendship during the 90 minutes. I will battle only for Vidi to be successful and will go in just as hard for the challenges as I do in other games. I do not think that we are in bad form despite the fact that we have not won games over the last few matches. We need to build on us being able to dominate in each game and create chances. We need to be more accurate with our finishing. Loki have been performing better after their poor autumn season. Although they are still close to the relegation zone, I am sure that they will not be relegated. Debrecen have no place in the Second division. The end to the season is looking like being very exciting and Vasas have also moved into position to challenge. Our most important aim is to make sure we can secure the league title as quickly as possible. We can take the first step on Saturday evening with a win against Debrecen" - commented Jozsef Varga to the club website.
